A Global Fundraising Tamil E-Concert

Oru Kuralaai (As One Voice), a United Singers Charitable Trust’s initiative, was a 6-hour long Global Fundraising Tamil E – Concert which happened on 12th Sep ’2020 and was streamed exclusively on Facebook. Silver Tree co-conceived and organized this breakthrough event.

United Singers Charitable Trust was founded by revered playback singer Mr. Srinivas along with Mr. Unnikrishnan, Mrs. Sujatha Mohan, Mr. Rahul Nambiar, Mr. Ranjith Govind, Mr. Haricharan, and Mrs. Saindhavi on board as trustees, for the sole purpose to support the Musicians and Singers who have been engulfed due to this pandemic.

The event had a digital reached of over 10 million with blessings from living legends Ilaiyaraaja & K J Yesudas, phenomenal stars like Kamal Haasan and A R Rahman had extended their support for the cause. The stellar line of artists featured in the concert also includes Shankar Mahadevan, Hariharan, Chithra KS, Shreya Ghoshal amongst others, and a few acclaimed Music Composers of the Tamil Industry like Anirudh Ravichander, GV Prakash, D Imman, Sean Roldan, Leon James, and Vivek – Mervin. Thousands of families benefited out of this fund raiser.

As a part of the fundraising campaign, we also organised a week long tribute to the late legend Shri. S.P.Balasubrahmanyam, featured people who dearly loved him.
